What's a "long time"? The Export process is very quick - seconds only - and the "Copy" process is hardly much longer. With Satsync you seem to be able to copy map files from the SD card onto the PC, although this takes a longgg time. Bear in mind also, that your maps are on the cards so if you wanted to use a user supplied blank SD card for routes, you would lose your mapping, apart from the inbuilt base maps. My GB South 1:50,000 card has the mapping (1,383MB) and 15 cycling tracks averaging about 50 miles each which occupy another 34MB so it's 1,417MB used and 613MB free. You need to check, but I thought the maximum capacity card the unit can read at present is 2 GB. The map SD cards supplied have a considerable amount of vacant space on them for re-imported routes.
